Reviews
This was a great joint to grab dinner, with the options available to choose either at self-service kiosks or menus by the counter. Fish and chips was delicious and I like how tartare sauce is a condiment at this takeaway, the fish was massive too! Service was too slow at around 20 minutes even though I must note it was very busy, however the staff had lost my order number until I repeated it so I almost didn't get served.
We ate here last night and absolutely loved it. I has the small fish and chips, was delicious and a very generous portion, the fish was cooked perfectly and not greasy at all and only £7.50. My partners pie was full to the brim with big chunks of chicken and the sausage was huge. Definitely recommend this place
Great fish and chips, cooked to perfection with flakey soft haddock
Called in for lunch. All food cooked to order. Pleasant staff. We had fish and chips and mushy peas, and also a fish with gravy. The fish now only comes in 1 size, and I think that £13.65 is a bit pricey. Otherwise all good we would return.
Friendly staff, reasonably priced and above average quality – the only thing I might fault was excessive batter. Certainly the haddock inside was very delicious. It's in a very central location and probably relies on some tourist trade so it was nice to see high standards when they may not get repeat business from people walking through the door. A well fed family of four left with full tummies & smiles on their faces.
